Legacy Pets launched our own Walking Group in 2024.

This involves an organised monthly walk, with a different route each month, advertised on our social media platforms.

Whether you are struggling to get out for walks following the loss of your pet, or just need some nature therapy and fancy spending some time outdoors with like-minded pet lovers, it'd be great to get people out and about together.​

 

We are pleased to announce the return of our Walking Group this Summer - with some minor tweaks. This year, we've decided to schedule 3 Walking Group sessions over the summer - each with a different route.

August Walking Group :

We are so proud to be supporting Bury Hospice in their upcoming Memory Walk. Our team will be there to take part and also be showcasing our wonderful Soul and Paw Jewellery 🩶

📅 Saturday 15th August

⏱️Meet at 3pm (Walk Starts @ 4pm)

📍Burrs Country Park, Bury, BL8 1DA

 

🚶‍➡️There are two routes available, a four-mile walk or a shorter two-mile walk.Both routes will start and finish at the showground field and can be chosen on the day.

 

✍️Registration will take place at 3pm and there will be a warm-up Zumba session before starting the walk at 4pm.

 

It costs £20 to sign up for an adult and £7.50 for an under 16-year-old. The suggested minimum sponsorship is £100.

 

💜 Participants will receive a special memory walk t-shirt, memory walk label and medal. Adults will also receive a Legacy Pets candle, courtesy of us and children will receive a goody bag on completion of the walk.
