Wow! What a time our team had at DogFest In The Countryside 2026 - Tatton Park.
Our weekend was extremely busy, we met so many new faces and also some families who have used our services in the past - which is always bittersweet. It never fails to astonish us when families approach us in public to praise us for the care we've provided them. It's also so lovely to see when families have introduced a new pet into their lives and give us an update on their next chapter - we love to see it!
This year was our 4th year exhibiting at DogFest and was actually the first year where we decided to actually "sell" a product. Every past year, we have simply been there to raise brand awareness, give advice and answer questions. If you're an active follower of ours, you'll know that we recently launched our Soul & Paw Jewellery range - so we thought that DogFest was the perfect "trial run" to test just how the public responded to this new product.
It's safe to say, it went down a storm! Everybody loved it. Although we had no doubts about that. Soul & Paw was created to encourage families to "make the memories" with their pets while they are still here. DogFest was all about that this year for us - the laughs, smiles and just great vibes all day made it a weekend that our team certainly won't forget. But for the families and dogs that we met, we took over 100 Nose and Paw Pad impressions! That's over 100 memories made. Over 100 impressions that will be made into a beautiful piece of silver jewellery to cherish forever. It was exactly what we wanted it to be, and we're so happy that so many families got to experience it.
All we kept hearing all weekend was "this is such a good idea!" - and it is! Although keepsakes once your pet has passed are equally important, for some families they can't bear the thought of their pet being touched once they have passed away.
Of course, from our experience at events over the years, we had people actively avoiding us. We know, we know - as soon as you spot that big purple gazebo, you know exactly who we are. The last thing you want to be doing whilst enjoying a fun family day out is bump into our team to potentially discuss home euthanasia or pet cremation. We get it. We hear you. That's why from now, any future events for Soul & Paw will be advertised as just that. Although Soul & Paw is a product of Legacy Pets, we'll be attending events without the purple branding we know and love.
This is a huge step out of our comfort zone, but we know it's the only way that families will actually give us a second glance. Legacy Pets was created to make sure that pets receive the care and dignity they deserve once they approach their final journey, but Soul & Paw are about the here and now - we're passionate about families not missing the opportunity to create something beautiful to remember your pets.
Most of our team who have pets at home wear a Soul & Paw necklace. Their pets are very much still with us - but they still want to hold them close every single day. Anyway - that's enough waffling on about the brand, but we just wanted to make it clear WHY we are putting so much focus on Soul & Paw Jewellery. Make the memories. No regrets.
Enjoy this video of our team from DogFest 2026 - you can see just how much fun was had! It was a hard weekend of work in the intense heat, but our team did it!
It was also the first year ever that our team was manned over the entire weekend by all females. A huge thank you to Claire, Natalie, Phoebie, Hannah, Annalise, Norma, Jodie (and Anya, of course), Eboni-Kate and Amy.
Let's go girls!
